Etisalat’s Live Streaming TV Service Now Available as an App


eLife ON app can be downloaded at Apple and Android stores
Features more than 400 movies

Content can be viewed on range of platforms
Simple and attractive user interface

Abu Dhabi UAE: 10 March 2014 – Etisalat, the UAE’s leading telecom provider, is now offering its next generation live streaming TV service as an app, which can be accessed on a range of devices including Android and IOS smartphones and PCs.

The eLife ON service features more than 190 TV channels including blockbuster movies, children’s channels like ejunior HD, Baraem, Jeem and Baby TV as well as premium sports channels such as Dubai Sports, Abu Dhabi Sports and BeIN sports. The service is available for all UAE residents across all operator networks.

The live TV streaming service is now available to both new and existing customers, irrespective of internet speed, and has Catch Up, Recording, Programme Guide and Start Over features. Thanks to the enhanced user interface meanwhile, customers can easily access and configure content and preferences and access social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook from within the app.

Rashed Majed Al Abbar, Vice President of Home Product Marketing, Etisalat UAE, said: “eLife ON app extends the superb eLife TV experience to subscribers in the home as well as those who are on the move. The app puts the user in control as subscribers can hit the pause button while watching TV and resume watching it on their smartphone or tablet device.

“It is now easier to share content with friends on social media platforms and set reminders to watch live TV shows. The eLife ON app experience allows access to what is currently offered with a TV subscription, including user profile favourites and bookmarks.”

eLife ON is available for a set monthly fee of AED30 and is part of Etisalat’s ongoing strategy to provide high quality content and advanced technologies to customers.
