Dubai, 17 March, 2016: Go Smart, the Dubai based software and mobile application developer, is taken a keen interest in the healthcare sector in the UAE. The company has developed a fully integrated and complete software solution for use by medical clinics called ‘Smart Clinic.’

In research conducted by Go Smart, the company found that nearly 80% of medical clinics in the UAE, which numbered 6,303 in 2014 in the UAE, use some form of management software. However, not many medical clinics had a fully integrated software solution, and usually use a mix of electronic medical records (EMR), and management and billing software. This is not an ideal solution as the interfaces are different, and the time incurred to switch between programs, as well input data into two or more programs is significant.

The ‘Smart Clinic’ software solution consists of the following modules: registration, EMR, dental, human resource records, accounting and payroll, marketing, and an analysis module, which are all integrated onto one interface. “Using ‘Smart Clinic’ will significantly reduce the time taken to input information into the system by administrative staff or nurses and doctors by 50%, that can then be effectively used in other areas of the clinic,” said Mr. Mansour Daou, Co-Founder, Go Smart, who also said “The ‘Smart Clinic’ software is completely customizable to meet various needs and budgets, which will be very useful for SMBs.”

“Further, ‘Smart Clinic’ is the only solution for medical clinics that is integrated into a mobile application too,” noted Mr. Daou. The mobile application of the ‘Smart Clinic’ software may include the following features: online registration, sharing of some results with the patient, availability of doctors and services, and marketing push notifications to notify patients and clients of new promotions.
In 2016, Go Smart intends to target medical clinics in 2016, with an eye on expanding to hospitals in the years to come. After sales services provided free when customers sign for ‘Smart Clinic’ include installation, training, and after sales maintenance service for free for one year.
